Why is the riser count rounded upward?
A stair needs a whole number of equal risers. Rounding upward keeps the actual rise at or below the entered target rather than exceeding it.
Is the outer arc the walking-line run?
No, it follows the stated outer diameter and is only a geometric reference. Code tread depth is usually checked at a defined walking-line radius.
Does overall diameter equal clear walking width?
No, the center column, tread support, handrail, and edge details reduce usable width. Calculate and verify clear width from the final assembly.
Can this result be used for fabrication?
