Frequently Asked Questions
How much candy does transferring a Pokémon give?
A standard transfer is counted as one species candy in this calculator. Event bonuses can change that reward, so check the active bonuses before transferring.
How much candy does a Pinap Berry catch give?
This calculator uses six candy for a standard base-form catch with a Pinap Berry. Evolved forms, special berries, and events can produce a different amount.
Why does the buddy distance look so large?
The result assumes walking supplies every candy that remains after planned transfers. You can reduce that distance by catching, hatching, trading, using Rare Candy, or combining methods.
Does the calculator include evolution items?
No, it plans species candy only. Check the evolution screen for items, tasks, buddy progress, or other conditions required for that Pokémon.
Can the result account for event bonuses?
The displayed figures use standard transfer and Pinap rewards for a stable baseline. During an event, update your current candy after playing or manually adjust the planned transfer count.
